Please note the following clause that will be included to any lease for this property:
The property is powered by a solar and battery bank system and is not connected to the electricity grid. It includes an auto-start generator that will engage as required if the solar system is not producing adequate power. The solar system performs best for an occupant, if large-draw appliances run during sunny daylight hours. This reserves more battery power for the night.
The hot water unit is hardwired to the solar system and operates on a timer. A wetback system is connected, which heats water when wood fire is lit. If the wood fire is not lit overnight, morning hot water may have a reduced temperature until the electric timer engages during daylight hours.
High-wattage appliances, such as a clothes dryer or an electric heater, are not compatible with the solar system. Additionally, running numerous appliances simultaneously - such as a kettle, toaster, microwave, washing machine, vacuum - may exceed the system's power capacity or drain the batteries too quickly, causing the generator to engage. Occupants should spread out their appliance usage accordingly.
Pets: At any stage before or during the tenancy, tenants wishing to keep a pet at the property will be required to seek the owner's consent using the approved application form.
No site-unseen applications/viewings. Inspection is required to fully appreciate the property, its setting and unique features. We encourage you to register your interest so that we can reach out regarding current scheduled times or to arrange an appointment with you.
